Dodds In Team Of The Week (2/3/17)

Dodds In Team Of The Week (2/3/17)

Shrewsbury Town are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Louis Dodds in the four three victory over Charlton Athletic in midweek was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Dodds was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

Dodds was the Shrewsbury star in their thrilling 4-3 win over Charlton Athletic, scoring twice in the topsy-turvy encounter. After getting the ball rolling early on, the 30-year-old also had the final say, striking home with 15 minutes to play to settle the enthralling encounter.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Dodds for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Karl Darlow (Newcastle United), Will Nightingale (Wimbledon), Charlie Mulgrew (Blackburn Rovers), Ryan Edwards (Morecambe), Tom Pett (Stevenage), Louis Dodds (Shrewsbury Town), Callum Styles (Bury), Carl Winchester (Cheltenham Town), Ricky Holmes (Charlton Athletic), Adebayo Akinfenwa (Wycombe Wanderers), Lewis Alessandra (Hartlepool United).

Manager - Kevin Nolan (Notts County).
