Port Vale Pitch Inspection Announced

Shrewsbury Town have organised a precautionary pitch inspection for the Greenhous Meadow playing surface ahead of the game against Port Vale tomorrow.

The inspection will take place at 8.15am in the morning just to ensure the game is okay to go ahead given the current weather forecasts.

As things stand the club explain this is purely a precautionary measure as the playing surface is perfectly okay at the moment, but they feel with the spate of late postponements lately, it's best they are ahead of the curve and match referee James Adcock will be having an early start so everyone knows what they are doing on the day.
