Walsall Away In The FA Cup

Shrewsbury Town have been paired against Walsall in the first round of the FA Cup for 2013-14.

Games against Walsall are usually an interesting affair, and our fellow League Oners sit in 7th place at the moment, with Shrewsbury some way behind in 18th.

Graham Turner said following the draw that he was looking forward to a run in the Cup this season, so he's disappointed to be drawn away from home in the opening round, and he acknowledges that Walsall will be a tough test for us.

'We haven't had the best of cup runs in recent years so it would be nice if we could get a result there to start a good FA Cup campaign.'

The date and time of the match is yet to be announced, but it's likely to take place on either November 9th or November 10th.

Travel and ticket details will also be announced in due course.
