GT - We Fixed The Errors

GT - We Fixed The Errors

Graham Turner was delighted to see us comeback to draw in the second half as he believes the team corrected the mistakes they had made in the first half.

Speaking to the Official Site Turner explained that he thought it was another fantastic workout for the lads, but he mostly pleased about how the players responded to going 3-1 down in the first half, and how we fought back in the second.

'It was a good workout in terms of the fitness and in terms of all of the things we did wrong in the first half that we wanted to put right in the second half, mostly our defending. Out passing was good and we got ourselves into some good positions. It was pleasing to see three well worked goals.'

Turner admits the worry is that Akwasi Asanti has now damaged his hamstring following the game, but everybody is hopeful that it's nothing too serious - just as it is as Jon Taylor may have picked up a groin strain.

With Birmingham City up next, Turner is hoping the team defend better and don't concede goals in the manner we did today.
