'If It's Football, It's Vital'

GT Wants Newbies To Be Leaders

Graham Turner has said that one thing that new signings Tamika Mkandawire and Dave Winfield will bring to the club is a positive attitude in the dressing room.

And both could be contenders for our captains armband this season.

Speaking to the Shropshire Star the manager explained that one of the things he wanted to improve this season was the positivity in the dressing room, and he knows these two players can help that.

'Tamika certainly comes to us with the sort of attitude we're looking for. The same could be said for Dave. I was very impressed with his personality, character and determination.'

Both players also have good experience of promotion winning campaigns, as well as experience of how to dig in when you are battling at the other end of the table so should have lots to pass onto their team mates.
