Weale Pleased To Be Back

Goalkeeper Chris Weale has said he's delighted to be back in pre season training and he can't wait for the season to get going properly.

Speaking to the Official Site with the players returning to prepare themselves for the coming campaign, our goalie said.

'We've gone a little bit more scientific this pre season which will hopefully put us in good stead for the season. It's very structured.'

With the Galatasaray friendly on the horizon, of course this is a topic of conversation amongst the players, and Weale says that everybody is hoping to get the chance to test themselves against the Turkish Giants.

'It's very exciting and it'll be good to test ourselves against them. You want to test yourself against the best players.'

Weale did say though that the players know they can't be too hyped about that game, because it's a long season ahead and our aim for the coming months isn't to beat Galatasaray, it's to gain promotion.
