Taylor & Goldson Sign Offers

Taylor & Goldson Sign Offers

Jon Taylor and Connor Goldson have now agreed terms on the deals they were offered by the club earlier in the summer.

Maybe summer is a stretch with this weather?

Both have finalised new two year deals despite having other offers on the table from other clubs.

Speaking to the Official Site Goldson said firstly after signing the deal.

'I'm happy to have signed a new contract here at Shrewsbury, it's taken a while but in the end it's all gone to plan. I've said all along that I wanted to stay, it was never about money or the length of the contract it was about playing games.'

Goldson says that at his age, 21, he hasn't yet played as many games as he wanted and that's something he hopes to rectify next season and he's obviously sure he will after signing the deal.

Jon Taylor is now our longest serving player and he said after completing the deal.

'It's a good contract for me as I really like Shrewsbury and am looking forward to playing as many games as I can. I want to get back to producing the good form that I did earlier last season, it's hard to keep that level up but it will be a challenge for me.'
