'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Winfield Excited By Move

New signing Dave Winfield has said he's excited by his move to Shrewsbury and he's pleased to have the chance to play League One football again.

His last experience of League One was suffering relegation with Wycombe, so clearly he's looking for a better experience this time round.

Speaking to the Official Site Winfield said following his move.

'I don't think there's a footballer out there who doesn't want to improve and make leaps in their career. There was quite a lot of interest, but I want to play as high as I can and Shrewsbury's a good club.'
