'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bolton Head To The Greenhous

Bolton Wanderers will visit Greenhous Meadow in pre season.

The friendly will take place on July 20 and kick off at 3pm, and should be quite an occasion for both Tom Eaves and Alex McQuade.

Graham Turner told the Official Site that it's difficult to draw big Premiership teams thesedays because most of them tour abroad, but last season he felt we benefited from the clashes against Championship clubs and it's something he hopes to do again this season.

'I thought we had three very good games in Wolves, Leicester and Birmingham and that's the sort of thing we'll be looking for again. Good solid Championship clubs that will give us a good game.'
