Grandison Out For Six Months?

Grandison Out For Six Months?

Graham Turner has admitted that Jermaine Grandison does require an operation and he could be out for six months.

With Jermaine being offered a contract, but negotiations stalled until his immediate fitness future was decided, Turner also told the Official Site that the club would stand by him.

'It looks likely that he'll require surgery on his hip which is quite an extensive operation. He could be out for quite some time, the fear is it could be up to six months which will be a severe blow for us because he's very much an integral part of what we had planned. But we'll get over it.'

As for the contract offer, he said.

'In Jermaine's case we've got to give him the opportunity to get fit again. There is an offer on the table which safeguards certainly his future for 12 months.'
