Gayle Returns To Contention

On loan West Bromwich Albion defender Cameron Gayle, may play some part in the game against Colchester after recovering from his hamstring injury.

The last time he turned out for the club was in the draw against Crewe back on March 16, and Graham Turner admitted that he had returned to Albion to undergo treatment and rehabilitation work, and he subsequently rejoined Shrewsbury last Tuesday for full training.

Therefore he may play a part in the game.

In other injury news, Turner doesn't believe that Jermaine Grandison will play again this season, but Marvin Morgan returned to training today and Mark Wright is still scheduled to rejoin full training and is still in line for the reserve fixture on Monday.
