Fond Memories Of Colchester

Luke Summerfield has talked about his memories of Colchester because that was who he made his league debut against.

At the time he played for Plymouth, and marked his league debut by grabbing his debut goal, which turned out to be the matchwinner on the day.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the visit to their new stadium, the midfielder said.

'The goal I scored for Plymouth was a good memory of my first start, especially as it was the winning goal. I haven't been to Colchester's new stadium, so hopefully, if I get a game this weekend, it will be a nice experience.'

He also talks about Shrewsbury being all but safe from relegation this season given our goal difference, admitting that results went for us on Tuesday but the players still have a job to do this weekend and make us mathematically safe to give the fans something to cheer about.
