Eaves To Stay, Porter Returns

Tom Eaves has said he is hoping to extend his loan from Bolton, but Chris Porter has returned to Sheffield United.

Speaking to the BBC 21 year old Eaves who bagged a brace against MK Dons said it was ultimately up to Bolton manager Dougie Freedman, but he can't see any reasons why he wouldn't extend the deal.

'I can't see why I wouldn't want to stay, but it's up to Dougie Freedman. I've had a great time, settled in really well with the lads, and now got a soft spot for the club.'

Since joining on his initial one month deal, Eaves has turned out five times and found the net on three occasions.

In other loan news, Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson has said he was pleased with Chris Porter's time at the club, and now he returns to them slightly fitter ready to play his part at Brammall Lane.

Porter started four times during his month here, scoring on the one occasion, with his last appearance coming as a sub against MK Dons.
