Turner - The Red Cost Us The Game
Graham Turner has blasted the performance of the referee following our loss to Doncaster, because he knows that red card changed the outcome of the game.
Speaking to the Official Site after the late 2-1 loss, Turner blasted.
'It's hard enough to play against Doncaster, who are top of the table now, and to go down to ten men in the game made life very difficult for us. That decision has cost us dearly. It's a kick in the teeth when you concede so late after showing the character in the last 15 minutes. We worked tremendously hard and I think we've been undone by the referee's decision.'
Turner said the positives from the game were how the teamed battled and still had a right good go at it until tiredness kicked in right at the end. It was a step too far having been reduced so early in the game.
Turner also called the decision to send off McAllister 'scandalous' and it's difficult not to disagree.
