'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Delightful Debut By Porter

Graham Turner has praised Chris Porter's goal scoring debut for the club.

Speaking to the Official Site after Porter opened the scoring, the manager said of our new loanee.

'Chris Porter's contribution has been quite good throughout the game, he's won a few headers, held the ball up and got in behind a couple of times. He's there to score goals and irrespective of the chance that was presented to him, he's there to put it in. He's deadly from that range!'

Certainly a bright start to his career at Greenhous Meadow, let's hope it's the first of many for the lad and we all win then.
