Massive Three Points For Turner

Graham Turner has said time will tell how important those three points will be, but it was a massive boost for the club.

Speaking to the Official Site following the 2-0 win over Tranmere, he said the lads put in an excellent performance.

'Time will tell how big a three points that will be, but it's a massive three points irrespective of the circumstances. It'd been an excellent performance and an excellent result.'

Turner adds that sometimes it's more difficult to play against 10 men because they close up shop, and you aren't left with the space to exploit the advantage but he was pleased to see the players keep their shape, and remain disciplined instead of thinking they could go gung ho and maybe get caught on the counter.
