McAllister To Even Things Up

David McAllister scored the winner the last two times we met, and his dad fancies his chances of becoming a pub quiz question by scoring the winner for us this time.

As many will remember the last time the two clubs met, McAllister gave United all three points on 4 minutes, and he's admitted himself he wouldn't mind history repeating to grant us the three points this time.

Speaking to the Shrewsbury Chronicle after trading United life for his current 2 1/2 year deal at Shrews, he said he'd like to even the score when United visit the Greenhous for the first time.

'I was talking to my dad about this and he was laughing, saying 'could you imagine you got the winner against them after getting the winner against Shrewsbury?'. It would certainly be a good quiz question in a few years if I imagined to do that!'

McAllister admits the obvious in saying it will be strange for him to line up against friends following his time at United, but he's experienced it before when he lined up against us following his loan spell. But he will welcome the chance to prove a point to Danny Wilson, as you'd expect any player let go to want to do.

And of course - what better insight into how Sheff United will gameplan the match than a recent former player.
