Richards' 90 minute penalty seemed to put a smile on the face of our manager today.
Speaking to ShrewsburyTown.com following the game Turner said.
'It hasn't sunk in yet. It's been a long hard battle and we knew Preston would make life difficult. To go a goal down and show enough character to come back and win it was terrific. It's great character and bottle from Matt.'
Turner found it difficult not to show his shock for their opener, adding.
'I can barely recall Chris Weale having to make a save in the first half. But for the lad to hit one like that from 25 yards and find the top corner was a real body blow when we defended quite comfortably.'
